Garlic mustard is an invasive, noxious weed. Its aggressive nature and 2-year lifecycle make it difficult to control.
It’s never too late to begin controlling your garlic mustard. Our system keeps garlic mustard under control, even if your neighbors do nothing to address it in their yards.
Our program addresses both 1st year plants (short, rosette of leaves) and 2nd year plants (tall, white flowering plant blooming in mid-May).
Annually, plants are sprayed twice before June 1st, and then 2-3 times later in the year depending on the outbreak of plants. All sprays are meticulously targeted to avoid harming other vegetation.
If services begin after June 1st, we focus on the short 1st year plants. After 2 years of intense 4-5 visits annually, frequency is reduced to 3 sprays per year to prevent the plant from re-gaining a foothold on your property.
