Poison Ivy Control
The poison ivy service grew out of a huge summer of 2009. Poison ivy was everywhere I looked in 2009.
To combat the growing threat, I provide a systematic control of the weed. Routine visits are arranged with the weeds sprayed with herbicides. A round-up mix or a broadleaf mix is used with the choice being made based on conditions.
Areas where the weed is found are flagged and monitored as treated plants are still dangerous to the touch.
Communication with the homeowner is maintained and updates frequent to minimize the threat.
This service can be used by itself or in conjunction with the garlic mustard service. The garlic mustard and poison ivy weeds grow in the same locales although they flourish at different times of the growing season.
